WEB CALENDAR POLICIES

In order to add events to the North Central College Web calendar, you must meet the following criteria :

College sponsored events:

Your event must be sponsored by an officially recognized, registered or sponsored student group/organization (contact the assistant director of student involvement, 630/637-5401); an official campus department, office or program; or North Central 's Cultural Events Committee (contact the coordinator at 630/637-5276).

Student groups submitting event information must adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Student Governing Association Finance and Communication Committees.

Events sponsored by others:
Outside groups wishing to reserve space on campus should call the Office of Conference Services at 630-637-5560.
ALL event sponsors:
Each event request  must include an event title, campus sponsor, date, time and location as well as a contact name, phone number or e-mail and address.

Each event  must be approved by one of the College's Web calendar administrators  in accordance with North Central College policies and established procedures for individual buildings. All summer conferences and camps must be approved by the director, call 630/637-5591.

North Central prohibits the possession, consumption or distribution of any alcoholic beverages by any individual on North Central College property or as a part of any activity. (Personnel Policy Guide, Drug Free Campus/Workplace Policy, page 2.)

North Central College is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is not permitted inside any campus building, including vestibules. (Personnel Policy Guide, I.14)

The Event Calendar Coordinator (630/637-5983), as directed by the Vice President for Business Affairs, reserves the right to delete and/or edit event listings if they do not meet the above mentioned criteria, violate local, state or federal law or North Central College rules and regulations.

Adding events to the Web Calendar is covered by the guidelines established in the Statement of Acceptable Use of Information Technologies Policy (Online Handbook, pages 25-29).
